Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

i. Customer Complaints Handling :
a. Analyzing customer complaints ( LPM ) .
b. Close co-ordination with TS / Sales / IRC & ADKC for closure of the complaints.
c. Actions to bring CPMO & R & A within the set targets , in AOP / A3
d. Close co-ordintion with suppliers , as applicable.
e. Identification of the key Quality improvement projects & working on same .
f. Taking up the quality issues in MDI to have continued focus on same
g. Working as single point contact for complaints of SA / AUS & ensuring closure of the registered
complaints on time.
ii. Raw material Inspection/ Lab testing :
a. Ensuring the incoming RM inspection against standards
b. Taking up the exceptions with concerned suppliers
c. Analyzing Trends of the incoming supplies wrt specifications & escalating abnormalities.

iii. Laboratory Operations:
a. Ensuring availability of all the lab consumables
b. Finalizing AMCs & ensuring that the same are conducted as per the set frequency
c. Ensuring calibration of laboratory instruments / equipments as per plan
d. Planning of the manpower for smooth lab operations & provide resources.
e. Targeting for ZERO overtime / Have optimum Overtime
iv. MIS
a. Release of the Weekly / Monthly CPMO nos
b. Trending & analysis of key defect trends and giving timely inputs to hierarchy
c. Monitoring progress of CPMO & R & A against set targets
v. QIS :
a. Data collection & mapping against the agreed templates
b. Ensuring smooth transition in QIS
c. Ensure effective training to all the concerned employees in all labs
d. Validation of the results of QIS implementation for Pune plant
e. Close co-ordination with GGN team too implement
vi. Proactive Business Support :
a. Lead Proactive Data Analysis & Action planning
b. Proactive Process indicators analysis & drive improvements
c. Proactive customer visits & understanding customer’s Voice
d. Identify Mistake proof opportunities & implement those
e. Proactive validation of the new products being manufactured @ Plant Location
f. Identifying & making SOPs to reduce variation
g. Application of Six Sigma / Lean / 5S tools for betterment of the business
h. Focus on Proactive projects , than , reactive approach / actions
i. Application of the statistical tools for business improvement
vii. Field Support to Minimize adverse Business Impact :
a. Reducing impact of the R & A to the business through effective evaluation of the claims
b. Driving process improvements to ensure that the COMO is under control & is reduced
c. Active involvement in the product launch / validation phase
viii. Active support in systems Building / Training & Education :
a) Developing / Revising the Current Functional SOPs
b) Supporting Internal audits of ISO 9001 / FSC / ISO 14001 & ISO45001
c) Training & Education to the team

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Customer complaint handling: Closing the complaints within agreed timeframe
Identification of root causes & implementing effective action plans
QIS: Streamlining of the QIS for Pune plant & validation of the same
MIS: Ensuring timely release of MIS & correctness of the base data
Laboratory: Ensuring Smooth operations & optimum resource utilization . Also target for Zero Over Time
Validation of the new product launches at Manufacturing level

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience
B.Tech / B.E & MBA(Preferred)
6 to 8+ years’ experience in Quality Manufacturing role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with external and internal key
stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures
Willingness to travel occasionally (expected travelling rate: 30-50%)
