foodpanda (small ‘f') is the world's favourite way to order food online from the comfort of your home or office. Whether it's getting your hands on your favourite pizza, sushi or burger, we believe that no one should have to suffer from hunger attacks ever again.

However, this doesn't happen without some really awesome people. We are looking for an Operation Manager - Marketplace to join our growing team to bring innovation into delivery.

Marketplace is the newest vertical and the most exciting project at foodpanda. In less than 3 months, there will be over 1,000 marketplace vendors on our platform, where customers can order alcohol, flowers, baby products, groceries and many more. We are currently looking for someone who's interested in making a change and be an essential part of our company's growth

Role Description
  • Exciting opportunity to grow alongside with one of the newest vertical at foodpanda
  • Manage all Hong Kong specific content on the foodpanda marketplace platform
  • Take full ownership for the management of workload for a regional team
  • Develop strategy in conjunction with the department head to appropriately staff and continually improve processes
  • Provide and maintain a consistent menu experience in both the English and Chinese version of the platform
  • Interact closely with other members/teams in the company (Content, Onboarding, partner care)
  • Manage inventory and update record
  • Edit and proofread menu and backend setting on each restaurant's account to ensure the quality of the content on our platform, and make minor updates on menus when necessary
  • Create KPIs to accurately measure team performance and effectiveness

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Fun, open and charismatic personality with willingness in taking on new challenges
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter & highly motivated to succeed
  • Data analysis experience preferred, not required
  • Excellent command in both English and Cantonese, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office and similar tools
  • Knowledge in Chinese Word Processing is mandatory
