(Senior) Finance Manager (Charities)

DEPARTMENT:

Our Finance Department is responsible for providing financial analysis, planning, control and accounting services to the key business units within the Club. With the Club developing its business to meet new customer needs, Finance is playing an expanded and increasingly proactive role.

We are now looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual to join its Planning and Analysis team to provide analytical support to business units.

JOB_DESCRIPTION:

You will:
  • Provide sound and timely financial advisory and support services to the Charities and Community division
  • Evaluate project objectives and budgeting requirements from a finance perspective
  • Conduct due diligence reviews on the costing assumptions / benchmarking with reference to prevailing market practices and standards to ensure proper financial governance is in place
  • Monitor budget utilization for key projects within scheduled time
  • Perform in-depth analysis on Charities and Community division's financials and identify donation trends, patterns or operational inefficiencies for business partners to improve their decision-making process and operational efficiency
  • Assist budget holders in preparing and reviewing budget and committee papers, if necessary
  • Support Charities and Community's team to provide financial training, if necessary


ABOUT_YOU:

You should have:
  • Bachelor degree in business and accounting or relevant fields
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in financial planning and analysis and/or financial accounting with at least 3 years in managerial position
  • Experience gained from NGOs, academics, and/or social service settings would be highly preferable
  • Possesses mature business acumen, strong financial analysis and PC (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) skills
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese with proven ability to work closely with all levels including senior management
