Job Description

  • Design and finalise go-to-market strategy and plan for the company's products with the Board that ensures attainment of the company's sales goals and profitability (including reviewing existing strategies). Plan to include identifying initial target markets worldwide and sales approach for those markets, building connections with key stakeholders (eg KOLs, hospitals, distributors), marketing and branding, product support and office establishment
  • Lead the implementation of go-to-market strategy and plans (ex Mainland China) referred above
  • Build, manage and develop an international team for sales, marketing and product support (ex Mainland China)
  • Support the Board to identify and develop sales and marketing team for Mainland China
  • Meet and exceed sales targets (ex Mainland China) to be finalised with the Board
  • Initiate and co-ordinate development of actions plans to penetrate new markets
  • Build a deep understanding of the company's products and needs of practitioners and hospitals in these areas of practice
  • Manage expenses to meet budget guidelines finalised with the Board
  • Support the Product Development team to obtain regulatory approval in identified markets
  • Work with the Product Development team to define the product development pathway, including new product versions and new products based on the company's existing technology platform
  • Support the company's fundraising activities
  • Support the CEO and Board to manage and grow the company, including strategic planning, goal setting and internal reviews
  • Support the development of a strong company culture in line with the company's vision and values. Adhere and support the company's policies, procedures and ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team


Candidates are expected to fulfill most of the following requirements:

  • Degree or above in finance, business or equivalent with 12 plus years of relevant work experience in medical device industry;
  • Strong understanding of communication developments and emerging hospital, surgeon, patients and general industry trends;
  • Good track record of supporting the launch of new products;
  • Highly business and result-oriented with the ability to establish/meet business objectives;
  • Able to influence at senior level to drive improvement;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self- driven with a strategic thinking mindset;
  • Strong written and verbal English
