PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Participate in managing, updating, and improving the quality of data within salesforce.com. This responsibility requires understanding of Salesforce's data model, data management tools as they relate to Salesforce, and operational reporting needs.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Highly detailed oriented and analytically minded. Driven to delivery the highest quality and completeness of data. Working business knowledge of sales, marketing, and support functions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal and collaboration skills. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Comfortable with, or capable of learning, basic SQL queries and capabilities. Working knowledge of the standard Salesforce Sales Cloud data model.
JOB COMPLEXITY: Responsible for tactically managing, correcting, and enhancing the quality of customer and prospect data within Salesforce. Take a "hands-on" approach to data cleaning and an ownership stake in the overall quality of the prospect and customer data. Participate in initiatives to improve the prospect and customer data hierarchy strategy in salesforce.com. Identifying and analyzing data quality issues within Salesforce. Managing the de-duplication of Lead, Account, and Contact data. Perform regularly scheduled audits of key data and own correction on non-compliant data where necessary. Monitor data issues and improve data quality over time.
SUPERVISION: Receives moderate instruction on new tasks and projects. Completes more complex assignments that utilize knowledge and skills learned from previous assignments. Accomplishes work with autonomy.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Computer Science. 1-3 years of experience managing data within Salesforce required.Salesforce certification strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. At the manager's discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: General office environment. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor. Moderate levels of stress may occur at times. No special physical demands required. Occasional domestic travel, less than 10%.
POLICY COMPLIANCE: Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.
