Job Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible to manage assigned handy's hotel partners to delight them by helping the hotels unlock the full potential of handy. The Account Manager will also be instrumental in enhancing handy's guest experience at the hotels. In short, an Account Manager will be the main interface of handy with hotels and guests and will maximise value for both.

Key Activities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all hotel matters in our customer centric focus to develop a trusted relationship with key accounts, hotel stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Train new and existing hotel partners on how to best use handy and regularly meet decision makers to identify, articulate and prioritise their needs.
  • Monitor how hotel partners and hotel guests use the handy platform, and develop data-driven recommendations to increase online rates, utilisation and engagement metrics
  • Create a win-win situation by matching client needs to handy offerings and presenting these in compelling ways.
  • Gain commitment from hotel partners to utilise handy more and increase guest engagement, and by doing so increase the lifetime value of hotel partners for hi Inc.
  • Keep hotels satisfied and delivering exceptional service on a day-to-day basis, including resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
  • Coordinate hotels needs and demands to the relative internal department
  • Maximise return on Investment of the handy platform for the hotels and for handy

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • About 2-3 years of experience in sales & account serving with hospitality domain knowledge
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships and act as a trusted advisor through understanding clients business
  • An engaging, enthusiastic and flexible team player
  • Experienced in increasing lifetime value of a managed customer portfolio & revenue management
  • Data oriented - able to use multiple data sources to solve problems and make decisions
  • Highly creative - able to create creative marketing collaterals, win-win solutions in tough negotiations
  • More than comfortable in Excel, to create business cases or ROI models, and in creating compelling presentations
  • Problem-solver who is keen to follow through with the problem until completely solved
  • Organised and disciplined with proven ability to manage self
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English
