DEPARTMENT:
IT Enterprise Solutions Department provides high-quality and innovative business application solutions (non-wagering) and IT services to all divisions and departments within the Club in the portfolios of Racing, Customer and International Business Development , Corporate Planning, Branding, Membership, Charities and Community, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Affairs, People and Organisational Development, Finance, Audit, Property, Security & Integrity, and Integrated Project Management Office.
JOB_DESCRIPTION:
You will:
- Be accountable to the project sponsor for the production of deliverables within agreed timescale, quality and budget
- Create and manage the project budget
- Create, manage and resource the IT project plan(s); agree and review the plans, costs and resources with the project sponsor
- Ensure all project commitments are met; monitor and report on progress in accordance with the PMO requirements
- Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project; report regularly to the project sponsor with regards to such risks and execute appropriate plans to mitigate them
- Ensure appropriate standards are adopted and that effective quality controls are built into the project plan and that mechanisms are in place to ensure it
- Ensure appropriate change management processes are implemented
- Identify and manage relationships through effective communication with all stakeholders including third-parties and act as the primary point-of-contact
- Identify, acquire and deploy team members, and manage third-parties to ensure successful project execution
- Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role to support cross team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours
ABOUT_YOU:
You should have:
- Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
- Around 8 to 10 years of work experience in software development, system integration, system design, on premise or cloud-based architecture design
- Microsoft .NET framework, C#, MS / PL SQL, Java and other open source software and technology
- Understanding of Cloud-based solutions architecture
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure planning, sizing and implementation
- PMP holder and Scrum Master certified is an advantage
- Solid project management experience in mid-to-large scale package-based or cloud-based solution implementation
- Experienced in stakeholder management including SI vendor, product vendor, on-shore and off-shore resources
- Knowledge in data analytics and programming languages such as R and Python would be an added advantage
- Strong ability in problem troubleshooting and diagnosis
- Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Able to work independently
TERMS_OF_EMPLOYMENT:
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
