The IT Strategy and Governance Department drives new strategies for overall IT Planning including manpower planning, demand and supply management, IT budgets and financial planning. It is responsible for the design and governance of the Enterprise Architecture, the management of the Project Management Office and resourcing from the IT Shenzhen Development Center. In addition, it manages the strategic relationship with business users and external partners to foster customer focus and collaboration.


You will:

- Govern through Architecture Design Board (ADB) all IT solutions.

- Produce models to describe the Application Target state in terms of artefacts, principles, frameworks and strategy with-in HKJC Reference Architecture

- Develop and maintain the IT Application roadmap for evolving the Club\'s Application Landscape, including assignment of application status into strategic, tactical and sun-set, as well as the retirement plan for sunset and tactical applications.

- Work alongside the 01 planning process to ensure investments align with the application roadmap.

- Review and recommend key services that can be set as standards and reused across other projects.

- Leverage the HKJC Reference Architecture. Shape designs based on strategic business and operating models; provide advice and consultancy on strategy to solution team.

- Influence and resolve cross-functional issues that result from any new investment and change projects

- Liaise with solutions architects and application/Services experts to develop design standards.

- Communicate with business stakeholders to map the Business Capabilities to Applications/Services

- Make sure the solution is compliant to the standard and fit for the enterprise strategic goal.

- Work closely with Chief architect and other domain architects (Business, Data, and Technology) for the alignment between different domains.

- Provide advice for project team to reuse the existing application services, reduce duplication and align with the reference architecture.


You should have:

- 4 years Enterprise Architecture experience.

- 10 years application development experience.

- Certified by TOGAF

- Familiar the vision/mission of enterprise architecture.

- Familiar the up-to-date trend for application life cycle, Service Oriented Architecture, Micro service (min.) Architecture.

- Capable of communication with different stakeholder across the giant enterprise.


The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
