DEPARTMENT:
IT Enterprise Solutions Department provides high-quality and innovative business application solutions (non-wagering) and IT services to all divisions and departments within the Club in the portfolios of Racing, Customer and International Business Development , Corporate Planning, Branding, Membership, Charities and Community, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Affairs, People and Organisational Development, Finance, Audit, Property, Security & Integrity, and Integrated Project Management Office.
JOB_DESCRIPTION:
You will:
- Take the manager role in manage project definition activities and project planning
- Work closely with business team and relevant stakeholders to ensure user business requirement is properly converted from user requirement
- Ensure ownership and traceability of business requirements and functional specifications through the project life cycle
- Manage and work closely with vendors/development teams to ensure that the documented business requirement can be fulfilled
- Ensure the quality of the requirements to drive business objectives
- Perform verification and testing on the deliverables' quality from vendors/development team to ensure that they are aligned with the business requirement
- Work with the project team to define iterations and how to deliver more iteratively
- Assist the project manager to manage the project development life cycle
ABOUT_YOU:
You should have:
- University degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in collecting and analyzing business requirements for large corporation, better in the data analytics domain
- 4+years of experience in IT project management and status reporting
- Team leading experience in delivering data analytics solutions using different kinds of analytics tools such as Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, QuikView and Tableau would be advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and strong capability in problem determination and problem solving
- Capacity of building strong working relationships with internal IT & business managers, and must be a team player
- Ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English in a professional manner
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Technical Lead (IT Solutions) role
TERMS_OF_EMPLOYMENT:
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
