DEPARTMENT:

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has become one of Hong Kong's best known and respected organisations, providing the public with world-class sporting entertainment as well as being the city's major non-Government community benefactor. Our contribution to the community is made possible through our unique, not-for-profit business model that channels the surplus proceeds from responsible gaming into community benefits. The Club is now donating over HK$3.6 billion a year to charitable and community projects through its Charities Trust. The Charities Department provides support to the Board of Trustees in the task of granting donations to various non-profit organizations in support of community projects, including arts and culture, sports and recreation, youth services, elderly services, environmental protection, medical and health, etc.

JOB_DESCRIPTION:

You will:

-To drive, develop and implement the HKJC Scholarships ("Scholarships") and Innopower@JC: Fellowship for teachers and social workers ( "Fellowship") programmes of the Talent Development Secretariat including programme implementation and improvement, talent and community building, and impact measurement to achieve the projects stated objectives, outcomes and impact.

-To develop, manage and implement year-long programmes and events, engage and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and programme partners to ensure programme impact is well-communicated and achieved.

-To oversee budgetary planning and control, manage internal and external liaison and communication.

-To foster synergy and collaboration amongst the HKJC Scholarships and Fellowship programmes with Trust's projects and initiatives; aggregate programme impact and continuously build a talent community of innovative change makers and compassionate future leaders for Hong Kong.

-To produce high quality committee papers, programme reports for regular committee meetings and board submission.

-To keep abreast with the latest development and needs for nurturing young talents and supporting education and social service sectors' innovation for further development and refinement of the programmes; and to ensure timely intervention to address the challenges associated with reaching the goals of the projects.

-Lead, mentor and manage staff and resources to achieve team goals

ABOUT_YOU:

You should have:

-a Bachelor\'s Degree or above and at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience.

-have a solid track record in the design, development and facilitation of an end-to-end talent and leadership programmes from previous roles.

-working knowledge of operating scholarship schemes, fellowship programmes and exchange programmes is desirable.

-has the passion to learn and innovate.

-personal accountability for delivering quality and timely work collaborating with a team of specialists.

-strong judgment, problem solving and exceptional conflict management skills.

-strong communication and liaison skills, both written and spoken, for collaboration with local and international institutions.

-Work location: Shatin

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
