DEPARTMENT:

With the full development of the Club's China development strategy, GBA (Greater Bay Area) development has taken on increased importance with three notable pillars: development of the national and GBA racing vision, development of high quality Mainland Membership/Ownership Base, as well as protect and establish awareness/rapport for Club's core brand (including Mainland integrated reporting / ESG, as well as Mainland charity platform).

This role will report to the Executive Manager (Strategy Projects) and the person will be providing the analytics necessary to truly understand user/member behavior as key input to the aggregated financial data.

JOB_DESCRIPTION:

You will:

-Perform key analytics and financial modelling necessary for the deep dive GBA equine feasibility study (with economic and social elements) focused on detailing out the development of racing/equine industry in China in economic, fiscal and social aspects.

-Lead data collection and synthesis as necessary for all project modules,

-Assist with all major Mainland membership and ownership related analytics

-Provide analytics and financial support necessary to guide management decision on key upcoming decisions.

-Work closely with finance and other internal teams to roll-up such insights and to ultimately guide senior management decision.

ABOUT_YOU:

You should have:

-A Master's degree in Business related disciplines

-8 years' experience (or more) in a business analytics heavy environment

-Technically astute with the ability to translate analytics into insights to guide management decision

-China and equine experience a must

-Good all rounded skillset combining verbal/written communications, strategic mindset, people management skills, and ability to implement and work across functions and manage external parties e.g. vendors

-Project management skills and capabilities to work across team

-Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

-Proficiency in English/Cantonese//Mandarin

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
