DEPARTMENT:

The Racing Marketing Team of the Racing Business and Operations Department is responsible for the overall marketing strategy and executions for our racecourses and major race events, including developing social content to generate public interest and engagement in the sport of horse-racing.

JOB_DESCRIPTION:

You will:

-take part in formulating racing sports marketing strategies and programmes including briefing agency and pitching proposals to senior management

-develop a tactical work plan with clear roles and responsibilities to ensure the endorsed marketing strategies and programmes are effectively executed on schedule

-supervises agencies and third-party suppliers to ensure quality of execution of both online and offline communication materials are in alignment with the Club's standards

-drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed, all communication materials are delivered in a timely manner, and all corresponding communications are synergized

-ensure prudent cost allocation and control in campaign budget and always consider cost effectiveness for better return on investments

ABOUT_YOU:

You should have:

-a university degree in Media Communication, Marketing or related disciplines

-minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing, promotion, media placement, preferably in leading corporations or advertising agencies

-extensive experience in brand building, advertising development and media planning (social and digital channels in particular), and can make very good creative and equity judgments

-knowledge of corporate and business thinking and practices

-interest and knowledge of horse racing

-relevant experience in team leadership and collaboration

-good communications in both written and spoken English, written Chinese and spoken Cantonese

TERMS_OF_EMPLOYMENT:

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
