The IT Digital & Channels Solutions Department is responsible for the overall management and delivery of the wagering distribution channel technologies including fixed internet, mobile, retail, telebet, kiosk, selling terminals and devices. In addition, the team delivers high performance, reliable and secure channel distribution systems connecting to Pari-mutuel and Fixed Odds Wagering Systems.


You will:

-Design, develop, integrate, and support high-volume customer-facing web channel applications, comprising client, server and database components

-Design, enhance, develop and maintain database to support the business and IT requirements

-Prepare system requirements and system design documents in accordance to with the HKJC's Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) SDLC standard

-Work closely with System Assurance, Infrastructure and Operation teams to deliver high quality web systems

-Provide rostered off duty standby support for the production systems

-Work with offshore development team in ShenZhen to delivery IT Project


You should have:

-Degree or above in Computer Sciences, IT or related discipline

-Minimum of 8 years' information systems analysis, design, software development and support experience.

-Less experienced applicants will be considered for Senior Software Engineer post.

-5 years' solid development experience in C#, .NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, MVC, Ajax, JSON, ReactJS

-Experience in Web Service-Oriented Applications and developing large-scale and high performance websites

-Experience in developing, implementing and optimizing stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

-Familiar with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases

-Experience in SiteCore would be a plus

-Strong understanding UX/UI, DevOps and Agile Methodology is an advantage

-Understanding in web performance tuning, web analytic and data security is an advantage

-Self-motivated and willing to work with others

-Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills

-Ability to work independently and under pressure

-Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua


The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
