The IT Digital & Channels Solutions Department is responsible for the overall management and delivery of the wagering distribution channel technologies including fixed internet, mobile, retail, telebet, kiosk, selling terminals and devices. In addition, the team delivers high performance, reliable and secure channel distribution systems connecting to Pari-mutuel and Fixed Odds Wagering Systems.
-Lead a team of local and/or offshore software engineers for system design and manage the system development and deliverables.
-Work with architects and other application development teams to come up with a clear
-Understanding of the requirements and transform them into functional requirements.
-Transform the identified requirements into system design and artifact which align with the Club's architecture principles.
-Prepare and present the technical solutions for management endorsement.
-Support the preparation of the project proposal, including effort and cost estimates.
-Provide support for system implementation and production incidents.
You should have:
-Have 10 plus years of experience in software development
-Have a university degree in Computer Science, or related disciplines
-Have significant experience leading development teams responsible for customer terminal software in a retail environment
-Have significant experience leading development teams, responsible for call centre software development
-Have good knowledge of software development life cycle and methodologies.
-Extensive experience in C++, TCP/IP, socket, RPC, and asynchronous and multi-threaded programming.
-Basic understanding of ITIL processes and work products.
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
